DCMGA uses both Google Meet and Zoom for videoconferencing. Google Meet is excellent for small groups and meetings one hour or less. Zoom is for larger, longer meetings and requires at least two co-hosts.
Meetings on Google Meet can be initiated by anyone anytime, once they are set up in the DCMGA Google Suites for Nonprofits account or are willing to use their personal Google account. Meetings on Zoom require submission of a Zoom Meeting Scheduling Request and the presence of one of DCMGA’s three Zoom administrators to open the meeting. After that, the Administrator will designate two co-hosts to handle the meeting.
