Junior Master Gardener Mini-Camp
At this Texas AgriLife mini-camp, kids will explore the world of gardening with certified Denton County Master Gardeners. We will learn different aspects of gardening. Camp will start at Denia Recreation Center, and we will travel to Shiloh Field Community Garden every day. Kids should bring snacks, and wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Ages 6-11, $45 residents/$50 non-residents.

Learn about creating new plants from a Denton County Master Gardener.

Permanent Garden Class
To achieve a Permanent Garden, you need to understand the elements around it, and how they are connected, and learn from nature by observing, engaging, and activating your “Garden Brain”. Our goal is to equip you so you can take action with more confidence, and not be afraid to explore and become the best gardener version of yourself!

Fruit, Vegetable, Herb & Flower Show
Denton County Master Gardener Association & The City of Denton invite you to participate in the Fruit, Vegetable, Herb & Flower Show. It’s a free event. Denton County residents can enter fruit, vegetables, herbs, and flowers into the show for cash prizes. There are award categories for youth and adults.

Denton County AgriLife: Serving the Community & You
This presentation will provide a history of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and an overview of the Denton office. During this presentation, participants will have the opportunity to meet Denton County Agents who specialize in Horticulture, Agriculture & Natural Resources, Family and Community Health, and 4-H and Youth Development and volunteers from Texas Master Naturalists and Texas Master Gardeners programs.
